Community Outreach & Other Benefits

Business Workshops

The CBI offers two types of business workshops to the community: general skills development for small companies and entrepreneurs who want to grow or start a business; targeted workshops for corporations that need highly specialized training.

CBI is well positioned with a cadre of volunteers to design and deliver effective business training. Our volunteers include corporate officers, engineers, university professors, and many small business owners who understand what it’s like to start and grow a business. Some of the volunteers are currently teaching  business courses and workshops as adjunct professors in university systems. Others have designed and presented workshops to large audiences throughout the United States. All are dedicated to sharing their  vast array of business knowledge.

CBI is also directly associated with Roane State Community College, Tennessee Tech University and the Tennessee Small Business Development Center, organizations that are dedicated to teaching, assisting and growing small businesses in the community.

CBI has a goal to provide the resources and training to meet the needs of the local business community. We will share our knowledge to help make your company a success.
